R.C. Faria received a Master degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos (UFSCar - Brazil). After completing his Ph.D., he worked for two more years at UFSCar as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Since 2004, he has been employing as an Associate Professor at UFSCar. His broad spectrum of research interests includes development of novel analytical instrumentation, electrochemical sensors and piezoelectric immunosensors.
