Biographical Information

Ryan is from Green Bay, WI, and graduated from St. Norbert College with a B.S. majoring in Computer Science, Math, and Spanish. He has worked as an independent technology specialist for the past several years and has also been involved with open-source development, particularly the AbiWord project. Ryan is pursuing a Ph.D. in human-computer interaction because he is interested in how interaction can be designed to maximize the benefit of technology in our lives in a variety of ways.
