About

My research area is in the field of the next generation energy. As for energy production technology, fusion energy is the main topic. I have investigated conceptual design of fusion power plant, fusion plasma design, plasma transport. Now, I focus on developing the conceptual design activity of Japanese fusion demonstration plant. As for energy utilization technology, I have studied the next generation vehicle(EV, PHV, FCV), and especially my major topic is development of fueling infrastructure, traffic simulation for next generation vehicles, vehicle to grid/home technology, and introduction scenario. As for energy evaluation technology, I have developed the evaluation method for utility function of each characteristics of energy system. I have applied this method to compare economic performance with safety sense, which cannot be physically compared, and to understand the difference between public and energy specialists, and to discuss the energy mix.
