Sahana is an Instructional Designer with 11+ years of experience. She started out as a classroom teacher and thereafter moved on to become an online facilitator/virtual instructor facilitating asynchronous classes for adult Japanese learners of English.
This combination naturally led to the e-learning world where her understanding of learners in the real and virtual world became a strong base for her career in instructional design.
In her current role as a Senior Business Consultant, Learning Design with Zensar Technologies Ltd., she specializes in consulting organizations moving to e-learning. Some of the critical tasks: analyzing the current performance gaps, the root causes for the same, suggesting solutions which can also include training, mentoring, coaching, peer pairing, process improvements, and so on.
Streamlining workplace learning is one of her passions and she is dedicated to researching different ways and means of achieving this goal. With a strong web presence, she draws on her considerable network for knowledge, just in time information and help.
She is a social learning evangelist and believes that without enabling collaboration and sharing, organizations will not be able to beat the change.
