About

I have bachelor degree in Biology by Rio Doce Valley University (Governador Valadares, Brazil, 2004) and Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding by Federal University of viçosa (Viçosa, Brazil, 2007). Currently, I am a PhD Student in Genetics and Molecular Biology by Londrina State University (Londrina, Brazil) with a Sandwich PhD at Rothamsted Research (Harpenden, United Kingdom). I have a work experience in teaching (secondary school / College) and lab (molecular biology techniques). My research is involved with Molecular Plant Microbe Interaction related with plant defense mechanisms against Phakopsora pachyrhizi (Asian Soybean Rust).
