I am postdoctoral fellow at Verimag, working on security code anlaysis. In past, I worked with Infosys, Hyderabad, India as a research associate in the field of security (binary/source) code analysis. Prior to this, I had been working as a Postdoc fellow in the University of Trento, Italy on EU funded security projects (autonomic networks security). I hold a PhD from University of Hyderabad, India, with specialization in Intrusion Detection Systems using Data Mining/Machine Learning techniques. Prior to joining my Trento position, I worked in IT industry (Intoto Softwares, India) as Security Research Engineer. My role was to analyze vulnerabilities and develop IDS signatures for its IPS product. Therefore, I have gained a good exposure of analyzing vulnerabilities and provide more insight into the cause. During my PhD, I was involved in the designing and implementation of Infinet (Indian Financial Network, IDRBT) security infrastructure. I am always interested in joining some research lab/group where I can be involved in research and analysis activities in the area of vulnerability analysis and Intrusion detection/prevention systems and the associated upcoming technologies.
