Sara Sánchez graduated in French philology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain, where she was awarded a four-year research grant for her doctoral studies. She earned a Masters in Language Sciences from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, EHESS, in Paris, France, where for two years she followed the teachings of the Research Professors Oswald Ducrot & Marion Carel. She has a doctorate in French philology (specializing in French linguistics) from the Autonomous University of Madrid. For two years, she has been teaching at the University of Paris IX Dauphine. She has also taught at the University of Murcia. She currently teaches at the University of Sevilla, Spain.
