About

I am concurrently working half-time while writing my thesis, as well as venturing into consulting forrays. After 12 years of full-time employment in management/technincal positions (project management, support services, training and instruction), I have returned to my roots as an educator in pursuit of a doctorate. I have substantial teaching experience in all levels of Spanish language and literature. I love a good story, digital or otherwise. My thesis work will span issues of identity and learning, complexity theory systems thinking to aid in institutional change, narrative inquiry, and the relationship between "learning by doing" and tradition reflection within competency-based learning programs and environments.
