Sebastian received his diploma degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe. His thesis was done at FZI Karlsruhe, focusing on speeding up collaborative semantic portals. Sebastian also worked as a software engineer in the area of web applications and multimedia portals for a couple of years, mostly at art academies in Germany and Switzerland.
Sebastian works in the SAP Research Lab in Darmstadt since February 2008. He was part of SoKNOS , a project funded by the German Ministry for Research and Education, aiming at the support of emergency management operations. He is now part of the Infostrom project and works on the use of large touchscreens for improved collaborative process modelling.
Sebastian is also enlisted as a PhD student at the Technical University Darmstadt and is supervised by professor Mühlhäuser (Telecooperation Group). His thesis is in the area of human computer interaction on large display walls.
