Sebastian Robitzsch received an M.Eng. in Media and Communication Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Merseburg, Germany in 2008. After being with T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom), Germany for his Master thesis and with Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft FOKUS.NET, Germany as a research engineer for one year he joined the Performance Engineering Laboratory research group at University College Dublin, Ireland as a Ph.D. candidate in March 2009. Since then, his research area has been related to interferences and self-configuration mechanisms in 802.11a based Wireless Mesh Networks. Sebastian is author of over 10 high quality research publications in various IEEE conferences and journals and holds a best paper award from IARIA.
