About

Sebastian Stride spent the first part of his career studying the long term evolution of settlement patterns in Central Asia, whilst trying to help preserve the vast amount of Knowledge endangered by the collapse of the Soviet system of Higher Education and Research. Later, in Barcelona, the lack of courses on Asia led him to set up a number of classes on subjects ranging from Chinese history to Islam in the Indian subcontinent and the Geopolitics of Central Asia. He now combines his interest in these fields with his job as a consultant on Higher Education and Research.
