Destercke Sebastien graduated in 2004 as an engineer from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons in Belgium. In 2008, he earned a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Université Paul Sabatier, in Toulouse (France). He worked during two years as a research engineer at the French agricultural research centre working for international development, where he developed decision tools and methods applied to agronomical processes management. Since October 2011, he is a CNRS researcher at the Heuristic and Diagnosis of Complex Systems in Compiègne. His main research interests are in the field of decision making and uncertainty modeling and treatment (learning, propagation, fusion, independence modeling) with imprecise probabilistic models. He serves as reviewer for several journals (IEEE SMC, AI, IJAR, FSS, ...) and has been in the program committee of international conferences such as ISIPTA, UAI, ECSQARU.
