I'm a very motivated researcher in the field of computational nanotechnology. My current area of research is computational modelling of innovative sensor devices at the nano-scale level, using the NEGF formalism and DFT for electronic structure calculations. I have experience and feel comfortable working with international groups, collaborating with other professionals of different areas and making solid interdisciplinary teams. Electronics Engineer experienced in the analysis, tuning and design of analog electronic circuits; electronic instrumentation; digital design in VHDL; design and implementation of human-machine interfaces using microcontrollers (ATMEL and Microchip) and databases (SQL); Design and simulation of simple control systems using MATLAB-Simulink; object-oriented programming (Java); and development and tuning of mixed-signal electronic systems. I specialize in the computational modeling of semiconductor heterostructure nanosensors. I am a responsible and competent professional, with well developed leadership skills and experience working in international teams and environments. I can easily join work teams and I am creative at the research and development of strategies to achieve the goals of the company. I have a strong researcher profile. Autonomous and good at working under pressure. Fluent communication in three languages (Spanish, English and German). I am a committed professional, flexible and with projection in different fields of engineering and information technology, capable of learning rapidly and effectively. I see myself in the future working in the academic environment as a researcher or faculty member, helping and making contributions to the scientific community that might lead to the development of novel devices to help people and make human life easier.
