He received his Ph.D. in 2008 under super vision of Prof. Takashi Ishihara from the Department of Chemistry and Materials Technology, Kyoto Institute of Technology. He was pursuing the development of an efficient preparation methodologies for aromatic fluorides by using organomagnesium reagents as a postdoctral scholar at Prof. Paul Knochel group in Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Luedwig-Maximilians Universitaet Muenchen (LMU) from 2008 to 2010. Then, he came back to Japan and worked as a Posdoc fellow in Kyoto University under the supervision of Prof. Jun-ichi Yoshida until March in 2011.
