I am a Senior Lecturer at Marine Science Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, National University of Malaysia. My research attempts to comprehend effects of global warming and ocean acidification on the physiological status (including growth, digestion rate and time, blood haematological and biochemical parameters, and respiration rate of fish) and its production in aquaculture. My research interest also includes identification of spawning season, age estimation, and trophic level analysis of fish. I am increasingly interested in actionable, science-based solutions to overcome this elevated temperature and CO2 effects on commercially important aquaculture species and educating students and stakeholders.
