Hi! My research interests mainly lie in hybrid III-V silicon photonic active devices, InP/InGaAsP semiconductor mode-locked lasers, quantum dot lasers, silicon optical lattice filters, ultra-low loss silicon waveguides, nano-photonics, and novel multi-wavelength lasers. The research topics listed above are conceived from start to finish through simulations, mask design, micro/nano-fabrication, and measurements conducted at UC Davis and UC Berkeley.
