I have been working in the Hearing and Balance Centre at the University of Southampton since August 2005. After my first degree in Physics in 1996 I was awarded a PhD in 2000 in the Institute of Zoology at the University of Darmstadt for my work on temporal aspects of simulated neuronal networks in the auditory system. This was followed by a Postdoctoral position at the Center of the Neural Basis of Hearing in Cambridge
