About

I am a marine ecologist with extensive field experience in the Mediterranean. I am currently interested in three main fields of marine research: (i) Marine Conservation, especially the development of transboundary marine conservation in the Mediterranean; (ii) Marine alien invasions and their impact on biodiversity and ecosystem services; (iii) Developing and applying methods for marine monitoring, focusing on methods dealing with imperfect detectability.
