Sterling Hutchinson is currently a MS/PhD cognitive psychology student working in the Institute for Intelligent Systems at the University of Memphis. She works primarily with Dr. Max Louwerse in the Multimodal Aspects of Discourse (MAD) Lab, housed in the Fedex Institute of Technology. Sterling is the treasurer for the Institute for Intelligent Systems Student Organization and is also working towards a graduate certificate in Cognitive Science. She holds a BA in Cognitive Science (Cognitive Neuroscience Major Emphasis) from Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL.
