About

I was born in Chicago, IL, USA. After receiving my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois, I moved to Germany in 2005. From 2005-2007 I completed my M.Sc. degree Facchochschlue Giessen-Friedberg. In 2007, I moved to Switzerland and worked in the R&D department of Ascom focusing on Power Line Communications (PLC) and Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET). In 2009 I moved to the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts where I am currently a Senior Research Engineer in the Competence Center for Innovation in Intelligent Multimedia Sensor Networks (CC-IIMSN). Since December 2011 I am working towards a PhD degree at the University of Kassel in Germany. My research interests include cooperative relaying techniques and medium access control and routing protocols for PLC and MANET.
