About

After spending the majority of his career in medicine, Dr. Steven Armus turned his attention to prairie consulting in Wisconsin. He first became a horticulture and prairie consultant with L & A Associates in Racine, where he also serves as a co-owner, working to help establishments and organizations improve their external horticulture look and feel. The company selects plants for facilities beautification and assists with overall property design. In addition, Dr. Steven Armus is a self-employed prairie restoration consultant, helping to restore natural areas to their original prairie status through initiatives such as erosion control measures, the planting of native vegetation, and the eradication of invasive species. Dr. Steven Armus is a member of the Wisconsin Orchid Society and studied environmental population and organism biology at the University of Colorado. He earned an MD from the University of Wisconsin, completing additional training in dermatology, and previously served as a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology. He spent 15 years as director of medical and general operations at Great Lakes Dermatology.
