Stijn Kelchtermans is Associate Professor of Innovation Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the KU Leuven. He’s the chairman of the department of Strategy, Innovation & Entrepreneurship on the Brussels campus. His research deals with innovation strategies of firms, the drivers and performance effects of industry-science links as well as technology licensing in science-intensive industries like pharmaceuticals and ICT. In addition, he does research on science and innovation policy issues, primarily addressing the design and impact of funding schemes.
