Sketch based retrieval Video Retrieval Semantic Segmentation

I'm a PhD student in the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing(CVSSP) at the University of Surrey. I joined in April 2010 researching in the field of Sketch Based Video Retrieval(SBVR). I am a member of ACM(Student), IEEE(Student), BCS(Professional) and am also a member of several specialist groups. Previously I was at the University of Hull where I completed BSc in Computer Science with Games Development(2:1). I have passion for development and research with a keen passion for Games. I have worked for JCS Technology for many years as their IT Manager, and have been employed by both University of Hull and University of Surrey. My research area is multimedia retrieval, specifically SBVR. I am currently at the year 1 transfer stage of my PhD and have submitted the transfer report.
