    About

Currently in the analysis and write up phase of my PhD which explores community perspectives and experiences of child discipline and the relationship with the discourse of children's rights in northwest Tanzania. The PhD examines social norms and the liminal space in which concepts such as discipline, punishment, childrearing, and violence currently find themselves in this context. This ethnographic work is meant to offer new indepth insights into the findings of the Tanzania Violence Against Children (VAC) survey and other surveys and studies like it.
