    Synthia Kucner has served as an attorney with the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. Working as an EEO lawyer, Synthia Kucner was responsible for reviewing current investigations and drafting the results of the final decisions on those cases. Her previous legal experience includes work as an associate at Hogan & Hartson, LLP, and work as staff counsel to the superintendent and administrative staff at Arundel County Public Schools. Well educated, Synthia Kucner earned her bachelor of arts in English and education from the University of Maryland, where she was a member of the ODK Honor Society and Tri Delta sorority. She received her master of arts in English and rhetoric from the University of Maryland before moving on to the University of Baltimore, where she earned her law degree and became a Law Faculty Scholar and a member of the Heuisler Honor Society. Ms. Kucner also holds a master of science degree from Johns Hopkins University in educational leadership.
