About

I am working as a Professor in the Graduate School of Biosphere Science, Hiroshima University, Japan. My research is focusing on remediation of deteriorated coastal environments using recycled materials to suppress nutrient release from sediments and hydrogen sulphide. I am also engaged in evaluation of cost-effectiveness in enhancement of ecosystem services after restoration measures by numerical models.
