Research interests

morphogenetic prototyping

Tim's research interests were incubated during his architectural education, which made him eager to explore about the capacity of technology to augment the human design process. This led him to a researcher role with the Hyperbody Research Group at TU Delft developing a new system architecture for the Protospace Lab. His current research is informed by his experience working internationally as a designer at a variety of architecture practices. In 2010 he co-founded the design practice Monster Attack with partner Aggeliki Aggeli. The work of Monster Attack informs his interest in transdisicplinary research and design practice. Tim has an Engineering Doctorate from the University of Reading's TSBE Centre. He has taught various subjects at a number of Universities and is currently a lecturer in Architecture and the University of South Australia.
