    As president of Levy Design Services in San Francisco, Toby Levy has received widespread industry regard for her work. She maintains standing as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA), a national industry recognition awarded to few architects, that acknowledges her commitment to promoting the highest standards in the architectural profession. The recipient of several Grand Award Recognitions of Excellence and Awards of Merit from the Gold Nugget Awards, Toby Levy stands out as the San Francisco Board of Supervisors' 2009 Woman of the Year and as the driving force behind California Construction magazine's Best Renovation of California for 2008. Ms. Levy graduated from University of California (UC), Berkeley, master of architecture program and has remained involved with the UC system as a member of design review teams and boards. Also a member of the American Institute of Architects Design Review Committee, she has built a comprehensive knowledge of the many challenges and solutions involved in different types of designs. This Northern California architect has driven the success of numerous residential, commercial, mixed-use, and educational facility projects, including the building of the Alice Fong Yu Alternative School, which earned feature mention at the 2003 Exhibition of School Architecture. A hands-on leader of her certified Woman-Owned, Local Business Enterprise, she actively involves herself in all stages of project planning, design, and construction.
