Umair Shahzad is a Graduate Student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering as a Fulbright Scholar. He is working in Power Systems Lab under the supervision of Dr. Sohrab Asgarpoor. He has completed his M.Sc. Electrical Engineering from University of Nottingham (UK) and B.Sc. Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore (Pakistan). He also has 3 years teaching experience in various Universities of Pakistan during which he taught courses on Network Analysis, Basic Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Power Generation, Control Systems, Microprocessor Systems, Industrial Process Control, Instrumentation & Measurement, Circuit Analysis, Electrical Machines and Power Electronics.
