About

I am currently doing a post-doc in the field of RNA metabolism. I am studying the contribution of exoribonucleases and small non-coding RNAs in the control of gene expression. I am using a bioinformatics approach and state of the art technologies to unravel the roles of exoribonucleases in the cell transcriptome. Recently I became interested in regulatory networks and how we can modulate gene expression using small RNAs. This line of research lead me to an interest in synthetic biology and its application to the use of small RNAs to regulate gene expression.
