Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, former advisor to the UK and Dutch government on technology policy, voted “Best European Startup Founder 2013” at the Techcrunch Europas Awards. Angel investor, advisor, or board member at several hardware and education startups. Victor holds a Ph.D. from Bauhaus-University of Weimar, is an Adjunct Professor at VU Amsterdam, and has published research on emotion, decision-making, statistical modeling, and film industry economics in leading peer-reviewed journals. Also, despite no sign of acting talent, he has an entry in the Internet Movie Database for the memorable role of "Young Man #2".
