About

My research focuses on long term SMB measurements and RCM modelling in Antarctica and in the sub Antarctic region (e.g., Kerguelen Islands) I currently manage the French glaciers observatory in Antarctica (GLACIOCLIM-SAMBA) aiming at performing long term glaciological measurements and developing regional scale modeling approaches of the surface mass and heat budgets of Antarctica. With P. Wagnon, I am head of the team “C2H” at IGE (15 permanent and 15 non-permanent members), I am French representative for the SCAR (Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research) - ITASE (International Trans-Antarctic Scientific Expeditions) program, and the French SCAR national representative in standing scientific group on physical sciences. Between 2005 and 2007, I have been head of the Glaciology Group at the CEAZA (Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Zonas Áridas), La Serena, Chile.
