Born in Como, Italy, 1967; I got my degree in Computer Science in 1992, and PhD in 1998. I'm currently researcher (assistant professor) at the University of Udine, since 2013 with national habilitation to associate professorship.
I'm member of the WHO Italian Collaborating Centre for the Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC), and elected co-chair of the Informatics and Terminology Committee inside WHO-FIC network. I've also been appointed by WHO as member of the WHO - IHTSDO Joint Advisory Group.
I'm currently local responsible for the EU Marie Curie project "AIDPATH" (2013-2017), and previously I have been national delegate of the COST Action "EUROTELEPATH" (2008-2011).
