About

Vincenzo Pecunia is an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at the International Laboratory of Molecular Optoelectronics, Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials (FUNSOM), Soochow University (China). Concurrently, he is a Visiting Researcher at the Optoelectronics Group, Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge (UK). Over the years his research has covered the charge transport physics of polymer and amorphous-metal-oxide semiconductors, and their application to large-area electronics. Prior to establishing his own research group, he was full time at the University of Cambridge for six plus years, firstly earning his doctoral degree and then working as a Research Associate in the group of Professor Henning Sirringhaus. His current research interests involve charge transport and photoelectronic properties of solution-processed semiconductors, both organic and hybrid, related optoelectronic devices (e.g., PVs, LEDs, TFTs), and their applications to printed electronics.
