Dr Seleem was born and raised in Qatar, graduated from University of Cairo (Kasr-Al Aini), Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, one of the top medical schools in Egypt. He completed his internship at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), the teaching hospital of Weil Corneil –Qatar school of Medicine and Surgery, then completed 4 years of residency in the Paediatrics at HMC, and successfully passed the Arab Board for clinical speciality in paediatrics. He then pursued 3 years of Academic Fellowship in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at HMC. Currently he is a clinical fellow in the Division of Paediatric Emergency Medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children.
Dr Seleem is “evidence based medicine practice course instructor”. Currently he has six published papers in international journal and other six projects presented as posters in international conferences.
