About

Wei Jeng is currently pursuing her PhD in Library and Information Science degree at School of Information Sciences, University of Pittsburgh. Her ongoing research, under the supervision of Dr. Jung Sun Oh at University of Pittsburgh, explores group participation in academic social networking service sites in order to determine whether those sites can become a common platform for researchers. She would also like to navigate online community behaviors, with an emphasis on social networking in an academic context.

She also enjoys photographing, image editing, ice-skating, skiing, and swimming in her spare time.
