Wenlian LU received the B.S. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. He was a postdoctoral researcher in the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Leipzig, Germany, from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, he was an associate professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences and a senior member of the Center for Computational Systems Biology, Fudan University. Now, he is a professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, Fudan University. He is an author and co-author of more than 50 papers in neural network, control, applied mathematics, and physics. His journal papers received more than 900 other citations from the SCI expanded and have been cited more than 1400 times from Google Scholar. He is currently an associate editor for Neurocomputing and a guest associated editor for International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos.
