About

Wolfgang Reinhardt received his B.Sc. (2005) and Diploma in Computer Science (2006) from the University of Paderborn, Germany. In 2012 he received his PhD from the Open University of the Netherlands for his thesis "Awareness Support for Knowledge Workers in Research Networks". Since 2007, he works as a research associate at the Computer Science Education Group at the University of Paderborn (Germany) where he is responsible for pedagogical training and preparation of student tutors in Computer Science. Moreover, Wolfgang is holding lectures that deal with Social Media, Research 2.0 and Awareness in Networked Communities. Wolfgang has supervised more than 70 final thesis (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) and 15 projects.. Wolfgang's PhD project at the Open University of the Netherlands dealt with the enhancement of individual and group awareness in distributed Research Networks and the recommendation of information objects in ill-structured learning. His research interests include CSCW, mobile devices for learning, social networking, publication and big data analysis and all cool nerdish topics in general.
