Xavier Ochoa currently is an Assistant Professor of Learning Analytics in the Administration, Leadership, and Technology (ALT) Department of the New York University (NYU) Steinhardt School. He also collaborates in the NYU Learning Analytics Research Network (LEARN). Xavier is currently the Vice-President of the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR) and Editor of the Journal of Learning Analytics (JLA). He has coordinated several international projects about Learning Technologies in the Latin American region. His main research interests revolve around Learning Analytics, Multimodal Learning Analytics and the application of Artificial Intelligence to solve educational problems.
