I got the PhD degree from Sun Yat-sen University. My dissertation title is Omics Mechanisms and Metabolite Regulation against Bacterial Infection. The major aims in this are to use proteomics and metabolomics strategies to screen central metabolites against bacterial infection, and to reveal metabolites- and its metabolism-involved mechanisms in regulating innate immunity (Macrophages) against bacterial infection. After completing my PhD, I worked on Zhongshan School of Medicine (Sun Yat-Sen university) as Associate research fellow. My involved work is "X gene controls T follicular helper (Tfh) cell to maintain the intestinal homeostasis" . I mainly completed the works on microbiota and IgA-bound bacteria in intestinal tract of WT and KO mouse. Now I am working in Department of Microbiology, University of Chicago. The one project is to develop mAbs that trigger immune response against Staphylococcus aureus infection. In another one, I want to improve the sensitivity of S. aureus (also MRSA) in response to antibiotics by adding exogenous metabolites, and then study the involved mechanisms.
