About

Yasith S. Nanayakkara obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with Computer Science as a subsidiary from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2003. In 2005, he began attending the University of Texas at Arlington as a graduate student. The following year he joined professor Daniel Armstrong's research group and received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2010. His research interests include development of new chiral selectors for liquid chromatography, development of analytical devices / detectors and investigations on electrowetting behaviors of ionic liquids for digital microfluidic devices. He is currently serving as a research scientist at AZYP LLC.
