Yevgeniy Goryakin is a research fellow in health economics at the University of East Anglia. His main research interests are in the socioeconomic determinants and consequences of health, especially in developing and transitioning economies. Specifically, Yevgeniy Goryakin has done work on the effect of social capital on health; on labor market consequences of poor health; on the relationship between obesity and socioeconomic status; as well as on social determinants of nutrition behavior. He's has also researched on the economic evaluation of public health, as well as medical care interventions.
