About

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at Central University of Himachal Pradesh, India. I have obtained PhD in Biochemistry from University of Hyderabad. During the PhD program I have carried out my research at European Molecular Biology Laboratory-Hamburg (Germany) and Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (India) in the laboratories of biochemistry and structural biology supervised by Prof. Seyed E Hasnain (CDFD-India) and Dr. Matthias Wilamanns (EMBL-Germany) (2004-2009). I was awarded with a DAAD fellowship for my doctoral studies and later on an EMBO long term fellowship for my post-doctoral research at EMBL-Hamburg. I also serve in several international journals as editorial board member/reviewer published by Nature publishing group, Biomed central, PLoS, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis and Springer. I was a visiting lecturer at Universiti Technology Malaysia.
