Researcher of the Department of Experimental Psychology at the Federal University of Pará, Brazil (1999-2001). Master Studies Advisor and Professor of the Master Program in Theory and Behavioral Research at the Federal University of Pará, Brazil (2002-2004). Associate Teacher of the Department in Biology at the State University of Santa Cruz, Brazil (2004-2008). Master Studies Advisor in Zoology since 2005. Coordinator of the Master Studies Program in Zoology (2006-2008). Currently Full Professor of the State University of Santa Cruz, Brazil, since 2008. Coordinator of the Research Group in Aquatic Mammals of Ilhéus and Member of the Research Group in Biology and Veterinary Medicine of Wild Animals. Coordinator or participant of several research projects on behavior and conservation of mammals in- and ex-situ. Currently, develops research projects in Applied Ethology with emphasis in cetaceans.
