About

Zouhair is a senior scientist at the Center for Prototype Climate Modeling, New York University Abu Dhabi. His research interests are in the areas of oceanography, climate and marine biogeochemistry, with an emphasis on the use of numerical models to study the coupling between ocean circulation and the global biogeochemical cycles. The focus of his current research is on ocean acidification and the dynamics of oxygen deficient zones in the Eastern Boundary Upwelling systems and in the north Indian Ocean.
