The article discusses the therapeutic benefits of creativity associated with the psychopathology. Topics discussed include disorders beneficial for the creative cognition, openness of hypomania in the bipolar disorder and rumination that is happens in depression. Also discussed is that the overlapping of symptoms and at a high rate of comorbidity between the psychological disorders and research in future can investigate the effects of creative work on well-being in fields other than art.
