Abstract

Agile practices are used more commonly in commercial projects. The results of such practices are dependent on many internal and external factors in projects and organisations. In this paper we present the key results of a study of 18 commercial projects based on qualitative and quantitative analysis of data collected. As a research methodology, we use the Goal Question Metric approach. Based on the findings, we suggest a set of recommendations that aim at helping projects in similar commercial context to choose best agile practices. © 2009 IEEE.
