Abstract

Online discussion posts should provide a rich environment for assessing learning. The requirement to post to online discussion forums in order to show comprehension of content knowledge has become a part of many online courses. However, it is often difficult to appropriately assess the quality of such posts. This study examined the quality of online discussion posts of students from two different graduate courses.
