Abstract

Computational aspects of the parabolic equation method are discussed: transparent boundary conditions for straight and bent Bragg waveguides, 3D finite-difference scheme in polar coordinates, estimation of radiation losses and fundamental mode stabilization. © 2009 IEEE.
