Abstract

Advances in the underlying technology of BPM, such as SOA, have enabled organizations more efficient, more effective and more capable of change. But serious barriers to enterprise-scale implementation of BPM remain. As a new computing model based on service agreement, Cloud computing is helpful to overcome these obstacles. This paper explains the main characteristics of cloud computing and its benefits for BPM. The BPM architecture on Cloud environment is proposed, and its implement is discussed. © 2011 IEEE.
